Kristina Alexandra Kovalyuk emigrated to the US at the age of 13 under religious asylum as a refugee with her family. At 14 Kristina started delivering pizza menu flyers door to door for $5 an hour. At 16 she was able to get an internship at one of the largest financial services companies.
